KATY PERRY

Katheryn Hudson, better known under the name Katy Perry, born October 25 1984 in Santa Barbara, United States, parents pastors. It offers a pop-rock music with lyrics well sharpened, sometimes provocative. She began her career singing gospel in churches. In 2001, she signed on the label Red Hill Records and released the album Katy Hudson, which offers Christian gospel songs. In 2004, she became vocalist for the production of the collective The Matrix. 

A first single hit 
In 2007, Katy Perry signs on the Capitol Records label and recorded the single Ur So Gay, available only on platforms download. A year later, she returns with One of the Boys. For this project, she collaborated with Greg Wells (One Republic, Mika), Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne), Butch Walker (Pink, The Donnas), Max Martin (Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Pink) and Cathy Dennis (Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue). The first title is called I Kissed A Girl and ranks number one in charts in the United States. Madonna herself admitted that the song is his favorite.
